Miriam is an artist and junior doctor living in Cambridge, England. She has created art for most of her life, but since working as a doctor art has become a necessity to process her encounters with patients in their most vulnerable times. She collects phrases that people say almost unconsciously, that hold a deep meaning both inside and outside the encounter. Miriam pairs the phrase with an abstraction of the person saying it, creating a connection between language and the inner self.
